Galleri V is a private house for collectors of rare virgin variant comics — the artwork with nothing in its way. Steep incentive ratios, retailer and convention exclusives, stated small printings: sourced worldwide, documented, and traded collector to collector.
The House
Every variant tells two stories: the one on its cover, and the one behind its printing. A ratio the publisher never expected shops to reach. An artist's alternate vision, run in the hundreds while the standard edition ran in the hundreds of thousands. A convention edition that sold out before the doors opened.
Galleri V exists for collectors who understand that difference. We do not deal in volume. Each piece in our vault is chosen for rarity, condition and cultural weight — then documented so that its story travels with it.
Our discipline is the virgin variant — the artwork with nothing in its way — and we collect it obsessively. So obsessively that we hold major key issues, graded grails most dealers would never release, for one purpose only: as trade pieces toward exceptional virgins. If your piece completes our collection, one of ours may complete yours.
We work quietly, by private treaty, from Singapore to a worldwide circle of collectors. If a piece is in our gallery, it is available. If it is not, tell us what you are hunting — sourcing the unfindable is most of what we do.
A standing network of dealers, artists and estates across Asia, North America and Europe — reaching pieces before they surface publicly.
Every acquisition carries a dossier: print run, distribution history, chain of ownership and condition notes.
No listed prices. No public sales history. Placements are negotiated privately, one collector at a time.
What We Collect
The word "variant" covers many sins. We confine ourselves to categories where scarcity is structural — printed into the object itself.
1:25, 1:50, 1:100 and beyond — editions retailers could only order by committing to multiples of the standard cover. The steeper the ratio, the fewer exist.
Editions commissioned by a single shop or printed for a single weekend. Print runs in the hundreds, distribution measured in metres from the booth.
Gold editions, recalled covers, printing errors and first appearances hiding inside variant runs — the accidents and one-offs that history later prices.
